
Terms of service.
Ivy Press does not use chemicals or dyes on flowers at any time in the drying/preservation process. This means color change is possible over time. White flowers are more prone to browning, and some color pigments in flowers may fade faster than others.
It’s ideal for Ivy Press to receive flowers 1-3 days after your event. Flowers that are bruised, wilted, or torn will be pressed in the manner that they are received. If your bouquet has mold, bugs, or is too wilted to work with, you will be notified, the flowers will be discarded, and you will receive a refund (excluding deposit).
Any brooches, ribbons, pins, lockets or other ornaments should be removed before you drop off/ship flowers to us. If these items are accidentally left on the bouquet/arrangement and you wish to have them back, you will need to notify Ivy Press within 7 days of flower drop off. You will be responsible to pick up these items or you can pay for us to ship them back to you.
Any vase that is dropped off/shipped to us will be discarded or donated. Please use a vase/container that is not of sentimental value to you - plastic cups/vases are just fine to drop off/ship flowers in.
Please know that Ivy Press will be in a hurry to get your beautiful framed florals back to you, but because of the lengthy drying process, your piece will likely take between 10-14 weeks. (Depending on flower type and amount of flowers.) During peak or slow floral preservation seasons, this timeline may change.
By agreeing to these notes, you are allowing the Ivy Press artist creative liberty to design the frame how the artist believes it will look best. Not all flowers/greenery will be able to be used - the flowers that turn out the best will be used first. If you have any specific ideas for your framed floral it is up to you to disclose those ideas/preferences to the Ivy Press artist at or before flower drop off. If you wish to approve the design before the frame is sealed, be sure to let us know!
Once the frame is sealed shut, frame color, background choice, floral design cannot be changed.
A $50 non-refundable deposit is required upon booking, and the remaining balance must be paid before you can pick up or have your frame shipped. You are responsible for all shipping costs.
Ivy Press is not responsible for any damaged or lost bouquets that are shipped. If your bouquet is lost or damaged during transit and cannot be used, you will receive a refund of any amount you have paid minus the $50 deposit. (The booking deposit of $50 is non-refundable.)
No refunds will be given for custom pieces. Please express any preferences for your frame before flower drop off. By purchasing a framed floral (or multiple framed florals) you are agreeing that you understand these terms and conditions.
